Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Adventure Metro Everest Pvt. Ltd. By booking any of our services, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making any booking.
1. General Terms
All bookings made with Adventure Metro Everest Pvt. Ltd. are subject to these terms and conditions. By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
2. Information and Documentation
Travelers will receive comprehensive information about the chosen package prior to the conclusion of the travel contract. Essential details about your package will be provided to ensure a clear understanding of what is included.
3. Accountability
There is always at least one trader responsible for the proper execution of all travel services included in your contract with Adventure Metro Everest Pvt. Ltd. For emergency situations, travelers will be provided with an emergency contact number or details of a designated contact point.
4. Transfer and Cancellation Policies
- Package Transfer: You may transfer your package to another person with reasonable notice, possibly incurring additional administration costs.
- Price Adjustments: The price of your package may increase only if certain costs rise (e.g., fuel prices, government taxes) and if specified in the contract, no later than 30 days before the start of the package. If the increase exceeds 10%, you may cancel the contract without penalty.
- Contract Termination: You may terminate the contract without paying a termination fee and receive a full refund if significant elements of the package, excluding price, are changed. In case of cancellation by the organizer before the package start date, you are entitled to a refund and, if applicable, compensation minus any transfer and administration costs.
- Exceptional Circumstances: You may terminate the contract without a termination fee in exceptional circumstances, such as serious security issues at the destination.
- Standard Cancellation Policy: You may terminate the contract up to 7 days before the start of the package with a 20% termination fee. For Tibet & Bhutan packages, a 15-day cancellation policy applies with a 50% refund.
5. In-Trip Adjustments
If significant elements of the package cannot be provided as agreed after the trip has started, suitable alternative arrangements will be offered at no extra cost. If the issue substantially affects the package and cannot be resolved, you may terminate the contract without a termination fee.
6. Insolvency Protection
If the organizer becomes insolvent, payments will be refunded. If insolvency occurs after the start of the package, repatriation will be arranged if transportation is included in the package.
7. Booking Confirmation and Financial Protection
Your contract is with Adventure Metro Everest Pvt. Ltd., a member of NTB (Nepal Tourism Board), TAAN (Trekking Agencies Association Nepal), and NMA (Nepal Mountaineering Association). The following terms shall have specific meanings when used in these booking conditions:
- "We", "Our", "Us": Refers to Adventure Metro Everest Pvt. Ltd.
- "Holiday", "Trek", "Tour": Refers to the booked holiday, trek, or tour.
8. Payment Terms
- Deposits and Payments: To confirm your booking, a 20% deposit is required. The remaining balance is due at least 15 days before departure. Payments can be made by cash, credit or debit card, or bank transfer.
- Late Bookings: If booking within 25 days of departure, full payment is required.
- Credit Card Fraud: Incorrect billing information will result in booking delays or cancellations. We may request proof of address and credit card details for verification purposes.
9. Booking Changes and Complaints
- Booking Amendments: Changes to your booking may be possible subject to availability and additional costs. Requests must be made by the lead name on the booking.
- Complaints: Any complaints should be reported immediately to our local representative or directly to us. We aim to resolve issues promptly. Post-trip complaints must be submitted within 28 days of return.
10. Our Liability
- Performance: We are responsible for ensuring your travel arrangements are provided with reasonable skill and care. However, we are not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur during adventurous activities.
- Limitations: Our liability for loss or damage is limited to NRS 5000/- per person unless a lower limit applies under relevant conventions.
11. Special Requests and Medical Information
- Special Requests: Must be made at the time of booking and are subject to availability. Failure to meet a special request will not constitute a breach of contract.
- Medical Conditions: Please inform us of any disabilities, dietary needs, or severe allergies at the time of booking. Pregnant travelers must inform us if they are in or over their 24th week of pregnancy as participation in some activities may not be possible.
12. Revisions and Changes
- Booking Revisions: A fee of USD 100 applies for changes made more than 35 days before departure. Cancellations fees apply for changes made 40 days or less before departure.
13. Loss/Damages and Transportation
- Loss/Damages: We exercise utmost care but are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings or personal injury.
- Transportation: We may use various types of transport depending on conditions and reserve the right to use subcontractors.
14. Price Lists and Accommodation
- Inclusions: Price quotes include accommodation, driver, guide, and their expenses. Personal expenses, tips, and other items not mentioned are excluded.
- Accommodation: Based on twin-sharing. Single rooms are available at an additional cost but cannot be guaranteed during peak seasons.
